I’m a sustainability engineer running full immersion escape experiences here in Uusimaa. I also run sustainability projects and am always looking for interesting collaborations. I’ve been living in Finland for 10 years but enjoy groups like this because I get to see international and ex-pat assessments of activities and food in the capital area.
Maybe public questionnaires and games would improve the camaraderie in this group? Perhaps a contest, where members donate prizes. I feel like people like events and prizes. For example I have been thinking of hosting a regular movie night at the time lab. I’d be happy to host something similar, or offer an escape game as a prize that some lucky person can win in a contest.
I would recommend newcomers join the group because the walls around Finnish society can be high without excellent Finnish language skills.
But it would be great to be involved in more active events and groups on FB.
